Paying attention to stats
Over the past few months, I’ve been paying more attention to my stats. For example, with a current Alexa rating of 121,186, it won’t be long before I can feel confident about adding the Alexa widget to this site.
With Twitter (thanks a lot to Entrecard), I now have way more followers than I could have imagined. Of course, being a program owner helps also, as more folks want to know first about any specials I’m running.
Each day I pick up more RSS subscribers. I really appreciate each and every subscriber as that is a purely voluntary action that tells me they like what I write.
At Adgitize, I pay attention to the Leaderboard. It’s rumored that the higher you are on the board, the more traffic you get. Makes sense to me!
Now that I’m a program owner, I pay even more attention to things like how many folks visit Traffic-Exchange-Business.com and how many become free members. How many actually stick around and make the most of their membership?
And then there’s the stat that is most important… How is my PayPal account doing?
